All about the flair and nothing about substance. But even the action was mediocre.
A lot of the fault came from Sylvester Stallone’s direction. He did fine with explosions and gun fights but when it came down to martial arts and car chase scenes, he wasn’t good enough.

It started off funny, as do all teen movies, but then it couldn’t follow through. In the end it was not only unoriginal as expected but lazy as well.
The acting was just manageable by these kids but I thought Aaron Johson was quite decent. The soundtrack like all other teen movies were prominent.

It was quite complicated and difficult to grasp throughout the first half. But I thought director Tony Gilroy did brilliant in keeping the audience guessing and in suspense in a movie that’s about silly spy work in inconsequential product industry but lucrative nonetheless.

So a lot of the scenes had no continuity and a lot of them didn’t make sense. I am not going to even start with examples as they would go on and on.
But this is a dance movie. It entertains through the dances, not the story. The story was there just to facilitate and took
Amidst all the messy cliches, there’s a story in here that’s moving. But I don’t know if it’s the writing or the directing, and both involved Nick Cassevetes.
However, the weakest links were also the adults cast. Cameron Diaz didn’t fit the role. She didn’t look like a lawyer and certainly didn’t look like a mother.
At last, an Ip Man movie that’s worthy of all the great action. I don’t know if it’s by the same producers but with a new writer, Erica Lee, from a female’s point of view there actually is a storyline.
The director has changed too but I’m not saying the previous one was bad because Wilson
I don’t know how I would like this if I had to sit through it in the cinema. It was quite boring throughout as nothing really happened. Only the last, perhaps, five minutes was good.
But I suspect sitting in the cinema would produce a different effect on certain parts that seemed mild as I fumbled
Nancy Myers did fantastic with this one. What a roller coaster ride she took her audience in.
I loved how story developed, I loved how the story took turns and bends, I was so drawn to the story and its progression.
And I don’t remember enjoying a William Baldwin performance as much as I did him here.
