Nancy Myers did fantastic with this one. What a roller coaster ride she took her audience in.

I loved how story developed, I loved how the story took turns and bends, I was so drawn to the story and its progression.

And I don’t remember enjoying a William Baldwin performance as much as I did him here. And Steve Martin never acted this good for quite a number of years now. Of course, Meryl Streep still reigned the screen. But not only them, John Krasinski held his own against the thespians and even stole a few scenes with some fantastic and hilarious lines.

Myers writing was a winner here. She brought loud laughter one minute and quickly dived down into a heart wrenching scene the next. And it all happened so naturally. Brilliant piece of work. I enjoyed it thoroughly and loved how it ended.
