A Playful Misconception, A Childhood's Dream

Not sure why Brunei cinema would bring in this movie which is old with nobody famous and unheard of. But they sometimes do, like Minotaur some months back which I didn’t manage to catch.

But it was quite entertaining, though I wouldn’t call it interesting. It’s an action movie about witches and witch hunters. Solomon Kane’s getup kind of reminded me of Warhammer: Age Of Reckoning. And I have to say I kind of miss that online game. But I digress.

The actors were fine, the story had nothing special but passable and watchable, and the CGI was just OK. Definitely not a high budget movie. The ending wasn’t good enough though. Quite an anti-climax the way Solomon killed the big bad baddie in the end.
