This Is It!

This wasn’t a movie, it was more like watching a concert on screen. But it was totally enjoyable.

Watching it I realised that I have never seen Michael Jackson as a human being before. Plus with how much his face has been altered, when he danced, he looked more like a robot, in a good way if that’s even possible.

So while watching, I kept thinking selfishly how much of a pity this concert was unable to see the light of day because it really looked amazing. The set looked awesome and there were a lot of new footage shot just for this concert. This was one I would have been able to make had MJ chose to come to Southeast Asia.

I couldn’t help but felt a sense of loss more than once and started to tear up. He really has gone too soon. MJ’s life was filled with so much travesty; some of them may not even be true, especially that molestation case where the accuser Jordan Chandler allegedly came out and said it never happened.

But one thing I realised while watching, at his age and state, he still sounded fantastic and still moved quite well on stage. That, I was very impressed. And it must have been one hell of an experience for all the new dancers.

No rating – how am I even going to rate this? It’s really not a movie to begin with.
