Not very impressed. The movie was too episodic and either I’m a bit daft or some scenes did not make sense, like when Temudjin was a young boy and fell through the ground into the icy water. How did he survive? What’s the significance of it? It’s more like attending a history class than entertainment.

I just realised that I had forgotten to add this entry. I enjoyed this instalment immensely because of its dark nature. It’s the darkest of the series and there finally was a dire sense of urgency. Not just some kids waving wands around. But still, loopholes were all over the place. Rating: 7 / 10

I guess I’m too old for this movie. The jokes were old, the plot was old, and in all honesty it wasn’t a very funny movie at all. Perhaps the young teenagers will find it funny, but it didn’t work for me. Rating: 4 /
