Real friends are the ones who survive transitions between address books.
It’s funny when people discuss Love Marriage vs Arranged. It’s like asking someone, if suicide is better or being murdered.

I for one preferred the first movie. This one was all style and no substance. Too much going on and the movie went half an hour too long (and it actually felt like a 3-hour movie). Plus the characters including the robots were better-written in the first one even though it’s a Michael Bay movie. [...]

What really caught me by surprise was the performance of Zac Efron. I have to say, I was really impressed at the depth of his acting chops. That truly saved the movie.

It didn’t feel like it was a movie about John Connor at all. The visuals and action were fantastic, the story was good too. Just not enough about John Connor who should be the main star of the movie.
