Good movie but only thing is, it didn’t grip me emotionally (as compared to Lust, Caution). Still a good thriller though with great acting and great direction.

I’m doing this only because it’s you, Carmen, since you “tagged” me. And also because it is in the spirit of The New Cycle (post below), I’m not going to ignore or say “no”. Who knows it could be fun and I may find new awareness and discover myself more?

Before my next post, I feel compelled to make this one first.
One of my new year resolutions (not sure how many I’ve consciously made but the other one off the top of my head now is not to ask “Whose fault?” as a reflex action) is not to say “no” immediately. If I can do [...]

It took the movie one hour to get to the main point. Before that it was just trudging along on another one point and it got old really fast.

It started interesting but then once the backstabbing started, that’s when it all went downhill. What a really boring middle act.

Too many loopholes that were too obvious. The fantasy elements were strong but the story bordered on absurdity. Not enjoyable at all, unfortunately.
