Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa

By Delrondu | Cinema

Who’s doing the “escaping” exactly? There are so many better and more suitable words, like plummet or return. The 89 minutes running time was just too short to cram and focus on each individual story of the four characters. And yet, it seemed to drag on more than it should have. Rating: 5 / 10

Ponderisms

Another one of those useless forwarded emails from Reuben but hey, get ready to smile. —————————————————————————————————— I used to eat a lot of natural foods until I learned that most people die of natural causes. House Bunny

By Delrondu | Cinema

Pleasantly surprised at how much I was entertained by a movie that I thought I would have been indifferent about after watching it. For its genre, it was properly written enough to care for the characters. Rating: 6 / 10 (Full review at silverscreen.thinkbrunei.com)

Quantum Of Solace

The writing should and could have been much better, and should have been better than Casino Royale considering it’s from the same team of writers. But it isn’t. Rating: 6 / 10 (Full review at silverscreen.thinkbrunei.com)

Bangkok Dangerous

By Delrondu | Cinema

That ridiculous mop on Nicholas Cage’s head is not even the worst part of this cliche-filled movie. What’s the point of remaking this anyway? And Charlie Yeung was such a huge disappointment. Rating: 3 / 10 (Full review at silverscreen.thinkbrunei.com)

Max Payne

By Delrondu | Cinema

Looks and feels too much like a video game without any uniqueness nor appeal. Instead it feels too much like science-fiction-fantasy, like a lame Constantine. Rating: 4 / 10 (Full review at silverscreen.thinkbrunei.com)

The Mirror
