Red Cliff

Is John Woo getting soft and corny? Hard to judge from our local cinema since I have been told reliably that the Singapore version is in fact 40 minutes longer. Plus there were multiple censorship for “violence” which were distracting.

The Dark Knight

Arguably the best comic book superhero movie, if not one of the best movies of our time. I haven’t felt such urgency since Superman II.

The Dark Knight

Never have I felt such a sense of urgency while watching a movie based on a comic book hero. This was by far the best comic book movie ever made. Kudos to Christopher Nolan for making this Dark Knight story truly dark.
