I just want to have this officially said. So that if it really happens, I can look back and remember how it all happened. Or if it doesn’t happen, then it’s another plan that didn’t materialise for me by me.
JY and I are planning to make a movie. Our first draft was thrown out the window and now we’re working on a second story. When we first decided, JY was optimistic enough to want to finish in two months but I told him it would take at least a year, minimum. I believe I said I’d give us two years.
The story will be something somewhat personal to the both of us… or at least it is now. But we want it to be something about life, something that will inspire or trigger discussions for our audience (if we ever get any) after watching the movie.
We will of course shoot the movie ourselves with our own limited budget.
JY will probably want to mention this is also inspired by the low budget but extremely successful movie, Once.
Alrighty then. It’s set in stone.

The movie is NOT inspired by Once. In fact, the conception of the idea led us to find the movie Once.
