A Playful Misconception, A Childhood's Dream

Once in a while, an actress will come along and take my breath away. With her eyes and her smile, I’m like a fool always waiting for more of her on the screen.

If I were to recall, the first ever actress that got to me was when I was about 11 or 12. And that was Rosamund Kwan. Big eyes and a total beauty, I think that could be the first time I had a crush.

Let’s see who else pops up if I tried to make a list… in chronological order if possible.

1) Oohh, actually first there was: Alyssa Milano in Who’s The Boss. She is still as pretty now.

2) Rosamund Kwan from Hong Kong.

3) Chingmy Yau also from Hong Kong. A semi-porn star but still, big eyes and a beautiful smile.

4) Katherine Heigl in My Father The Hero. Yep, I have had a crush on her since then, way before she’s this huge mega star today. She isn’t as cute as before though.

5) Lee Hyori, singer-actress who I still consider the hottest Asian today.

6) Lindsay McKeon as Hayley’s sister in One Tree Hill. Those eyes are to die for.

7) Emmanuelle Chriqui from Entourage. 2008 could be a big year for her with a few movies out with her in the leading role.

And finally…

Odette Yustman. And it all started with her lying naked under the sheets in the opening of Cloverfield. But it’s her smile that got me hooked. Very happy to have found out that she is a permanent resident in the TV series, October Road, which surprising is quite a good series and is in its second season now.
