A Playful Misconception, A Childhood's Dream

After the flood, we lost our water supply, much of the Bandar region too, for almost two days. Today is the second day we went without water. Even worse was our emergency water tank has been, unbeknownst to us, faulty, so literally two whole days without water except for one water tap outside the house that trickles continuously.

Yesterday there was news that the water supply would return tomorrow (which is yesterday at the time of this posting, now being midnight), but no specifics of what hour of the day was suggested. My sarcasm went on to say 11.59pm is also considered “tomorrow”. And as if a wicked witch granted my wish, no water still for the whole day even when most parts of Bandar has already gotten their water supply back.

And just now at 23:56 I had a weird feeling and went to open the tap in the bathroom, the pipe started with a rattle and there it was, it’s back. If only I really had that kind of power in me.

I’m going to go wash my hair now.
