A Playful Misconception, A Childhood's Dream

That same trip to Singapore last week, I finally met up with His again. And to be honest, I have totally forgotten he just had an accident and was a bit shocked to see his jagged canines and incisors (he lost a tooth and chipped quite a few others). Almost like those creatures from the dead with some looking more like fangs than teeth. It looked painful needless to say but he said it didn’t hurt. He had braces on and his pronunciation was a bit off. And I thought he kept licking his front teeth as the new structure in his mouth is still making a home in his body.

But what’s unique and admirable about His is that he doesn’t let trivial matters like physicality be a problem unless they become a problem. He hasn’t even decided on weather or not to get a set of fake teeth and he’ll only worry about it when the time comes – which is when the braces come off I’m guessing.
